Federazione Italiana Passivhaus Welcomes New President and Board
The Federazione Italiana Passivhaus (FIPh) is pleased to announce the election of its new Board of Directors, a significant step that reaffirms the Federation’s strategic goals and its dedication to promoting the Passive House standard across Italy. The recent internal elections, conducted in accordance with the Federation’s statutes, reflect a dynamic renewal of leadership that aligns with the evolving needs of the sustainable building sector
At the heart of this transition is the appointment of Carmelo Sapienza as the new President of the Federation. With a strong background in energy efficiency, sustainable design, and Passive House standards, Mr. Sapienza brings both technical expertise and a strategic vision to the role. He succeeds the previous board with a commitment to strengthening the Federation’s presence nationally and internationally, expanding training initiatives, and fostering collaboration among professionals, institutions, and academia.

Alongside the President, the newly elected Board of Directors is composed of six distinguished professionals, each bringing valuable experience and perspective to the Federation’s mission. The elected board members are:
